Morning Green Smoothie

Remember a few weeks ago when I shared my little muffin-tin egg frittatas? Well this week, I have another breakfast idea for you, but in the form of a protein shake...a green protein shake that is! The thought of a green juice or shake makes me want to vomit quite honestly, hence why the Blue Print Cleanse was a struggle for me. Therefore, I was a little hesitant to try this shake when my mom made it one morning. I overcame my fear of drinking something green, and now this happens to be one of my favorite shakes that is healthy and keeps me full until lunchtime (very important! I am such a snacker...)


Ingredients:
~1 cup of almond milk
~ 1/2 banana (takes away the green taste!)
~1 teaspoon of coconut oil
~1 teaspoon of almond butter
~1 scoop of whey protein (can be found at local Whole Foods or Hi Health)
~1 scoop of California greens (found here)
~1 teaspoon of green tea powder (found here)
~6-8 ice cubes 

 Simply add ingredients into blender, mix it up and serve with a straw!
